Jennifer M. Buyske

Attorney

Jennifer Buyske practices in the areas of criminal defense and habeas corpus law. She is admitted to the practice of law in the State of Connecticut and the State of Montana.

Jennifer joined the firm in October 2021. Before joining the firm, she served as an attorney in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. As a defense attorney within the JAG Corps, Jennifer tried numerous cases to verdict. During her twelve years of service, she was stationed in Guam, Florida, and Connecticut. Jennifer continues to serve as a JAG reservist.

In addition to her criminal defense experience, Jennifer has been invited to teach trial skills in states throughout the country, including Colorado, Connecticut, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Washington, and Wisconsin. Jennifer is also a faculty member for the National Criminal Defense College.

Jennifer received a Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and international affairs from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 2007.

Jennifer lives in West Hartford with her wife and three children.
